ParkAthough the smallest of Zambia's game parks, Mosi-oa-Tunya ("the smoke that thunders") offers some beautiful game drives just minutes from the centre of Livingstone. Known as the only place in Zambia to find white rhino, Mosi-O-Tunya stretches along the banks of the Zambezi river where if you are lucky you will see elephants wallowing in the river or even crossing to one of the many islands that dot the river at this point.
Another great way to see the park is from the river itself on a sunset cruise. These cruises will take you along the banks of the river and between the many islands, stopping for sundowner drinks whilst witnessing a spectacular sunset.
