Thatch chalets on the banks of the Zambezi, approximately 45km downstream from Chirundu in ZambiaKayila Lodge is situated on a private game sanctuary on the northern banks of the Zambezi River, approximately 45km downstream from Chirundu opposite Mana Pools National Park. Accommodation is in one double bedded lodge and three twin bedded stone and thatch chalets with en suite shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also one honeymoon suite with a large sunken bath, shower, toilet and hand basin and a twin bedded tree house with a lower level shower, toilet and basin.

All chalets have a veranda with deck chairs and a private view of the river. The facilities include a central dining area on higher ground which affords magnificent views of the river and escarpment, a baobab tree with a toilet and hand basin, pontoon reception/bar and a plunge pool. Activities available include canoeing, day and night game drives, fishing (rods and tackle not provided), walking, sundowner cruises and mountain hikes.
