Extra Charges and Conditions of Hire
- Lunch allowance (US$5.00) -
Charged if driver is not released or given
lunch between 12:30 and 14:00 hours
- Transport allowance (US$7.00)
- Charged if driver is required before 08:00 hours and after 18:00
hours Monday to Friday. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays after
12:00 hours.
- Driver's overtime (US$2.50)
- Charged if driver is required before 08:00 hours and after 18:00
hours. Saturday before 08:00 hours and after 12:00 hours. Sunday and
public holidays charges apply throughout the day.
- Out of station allowance (per night
US$30.00) - Charged if driver has
to stay outside of Lusaka but within Zambia and accommodation was
not provided.
- Fuel costs
- All vehicles are released with a full tank and are expected back
with a full tank.
- Value Added Tax (VAT)
- All rates are not VAT inclusive, therefore
17.5% VAT shall be charged to all clients who are not exempted
- Deposit
- A minimum deposit of 60% of the estimated
cost of hire is required at the time of taking delivery of the
vehicle. Final adjustments are made at the end of hire and deposit
must be in cash or recognised credit charge card.
- Please Note:
All vehicles are comprehensively insured. Discounts and free km are
available on long term hires.
- Payments are denominated in US$ but payable
either in US$ or Kwacha equivalent
